1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you access or use FightEvent, including our website, dashboard, event pages, fighter application tools, fight card tools, and ticketing features. FightEvent is operated by FightEvent AB, org.nr 559586-8380, Sweden.
By using FightEvent, you agree to these Terms. If you use FightEvent on behalf of an organizer, gym, or event organizer, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. What FightEvent provides
FightEvent provides software for fight night event management. The platform can help organizers create events, collect fighter applications, manage gym approvals, build fight cards, publish event pages, sell tickets, validate tickets, and manage event records.
FightEvent is a software provider. We are not the organizer, promoter, sanctioning body, gym, coach, medical provider, or safety authority for events created on the platform unless we expressly state otherwise.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account secure. You must not share access credentials, impersonate another person, or use another user's account without permission.
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being used unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that creates risk for FightEvent, users, event participants, or the public.
4. Organizer responsibilities
Organizers are responsible for their events, including:
- event accuracy, schedules, venue details, and public information;
- fighter eligibility, matching decisions, weigh-ins, and results;
- medical, insurance, licensing, sanctioning, and safety requirements;
- ticket terms, refund handling, customer support, and event changes;
- compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and sports rules;
- obtaining consents, waivers, and guardian approvals where needed.
Organizers must not rely on FightEvent as a substitute for professional legal, medical, insurance, accounting, safety, or regulatory advice.
5. Fighter and gym responsibilities
Fighters, gyms, coaches, and team representatives are responsible for providing accurate profile, record, weight, gym, and application information. Gyms are responsible for approval decisions they make on the platform.
FightEvent does not guarantee that an application will be accepted, that a fighter will be matched, or that a bout will take place.
6. Ticketing and payments
Organizers may sell tickets using connected Stripe accounts. Ticket revenue is processed through the organizer's payment setup, and Stripe fees may apply. FightEvent may deduct a platform fee from paid ticket proceeds as described on our pricing page or in the product.
Organizers are responsible for event delivery, ticket terms, refunds, taxes, local consumer law obligations, and customer communication. FightEvent may provide tools for issuing refunds or validating tickets, but the organizer remains responsible for the underlying event and buyer relationship.
7. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as event descriptions, logos, photos, fighter details, and fight card data. You grant FightEvent the right to host, store, display, process, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and publish content. You must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, privacy-invasive, or infringing.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use FightEvent to:
- break the law or encourage illegal activity;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against others;
- upload malware or attempt unauthorised access;
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform;
- send spam, phishing, or deceptive communications;
- misrepresent event status, affiliations, records, or identities;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
9. Platform availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
10. Disclaimers
FightEvent is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FightEvent is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid to FightEvent for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, or EUR 100 if no amount was paid.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using FightEvent at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, fail to pay amounts owed, or use the platform in a way that harms FightEvent or others.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires another forum.
