1. Overview
FightEvent provides software that organizers can use to sell tickets for fight night events. In most cases, the event organizer is the seller of the ticket and is responsible for the event, ticket terms, customer support, cancellations, postponements, and refund decisions.
2. Ticket purchases
When you buy a ticket through FightEvent, your payment is processed through Stripe and the organizer's connected payment account. FightEvent may provide the checkout, ticket delivery, ticket code, and validation tools, but the organizer controls the event and refund policy unless otherwise stated.
3. Requesting a refund
If you want a ticket refund, contact the event organizer first. The organizer can review the request and, where appropriate, issue a refund through the FightEvent dashboard or their payment provider.
If you cannot reach the organizer or believe there is a technical issue with a FightEvent ticket order, contact support@fightevent.app with your order number, buyer email, and event name.
4. Event cancellations and postponements
Organizers are responsible for communicating event cancellations, postponements, venue changes, card changes, and refund options. Combat sports cards can change due to injuries, weigh-ins, approvals, safety decisions, regulatory requirements, or other event operations. A fight card change does not automatically create a FightEvent refund unless the organizer's terms or applicable law says otherwise.
5. Fees and timing
Refund timing depends on the organizer, Stripe, banks, card networks, and the payment method. Payment processing fees or other third-party fees may not always be refundable unless required by law or supported by the payment provider.
6. Fraud and misuse
We may refuse to assist with refund requests connected to suspected fraud, chargeback misuse, ticket resale abuse, duplicate claims, or attempts to use tickets after a refund has been requested or issued.
7. FightEvent platform fees
If FightEvent deducts a platform fee from paid ticket proceeds, refund handling may depend on the event setup, Stripe processing, and the organizer's refund action. Where FightEvent is legally required to reverse or refund a fee, we will do so.
8. Paid platform services
FightEvent currently focuses on event setup and ticketing platform fees. If we introduce subscriptions, paid plans, or other paid platform services, the applicable refund terms will be shown at purchase or in updated terms.
